Barragunda Estate Chilli mix

When local Chef Simone Watts brings her Chillies over we get super thrilled, especially as these are the last chillies for the season.
Simone loves chillies so much, she planted such an amazing range enough to keep you exploring Chilli recipes for days.

Chilli mix

Organically grown in Barragunda Estate in Cape Schanck through regenerative agriculture practices, Chef Simone Watts keeps on spoiling us with her beautiful produce.

At the moment we have her incredible chilli mix which comprises of Congo Trinidad, Hebanero, Jalapeno, Cayenne, and long & red Banana chillies.

Congo Trinidad are super pretty and extremely hot and reaches up to 400,000 Scoville Heat Units, so use with caution.

Hebanero Chili is named after the Cuban city of La Habana. It is citrusy and fiery scoring around 200,000 Scoville Heat Units.

Jalapeno is hot enough to perk up your dish with heat and sweetness without blowing your head off.

Cayenne Pepper will give you the heat kick you need but will also add to your food its medicinal properties.

Red & Green Banana Chillies are mild and sweet and so versatile.  Perfect for grilling, stuffing, topping Pizzas or thrown into a salad.

With such variety to warm you up these upcoming chilli days, get creative with Simone’s Chillies cos they’re here today and not tomorrow…
