Derived from a medieval alchemy sign for Aurum Potabile, drinkable gold. It was used as a rejuvenating medicine, an elixir of life. Paracelus, a famous alchemist once wrote: “…drinkable gold will cure all illnesses, it renews and restores”. While we know now that medieval medicine did get a few things wrong, the idea of drinking liquid gold is not a bad thought. Cheers!
