BatchMade is owned and operated by Sam Talbot and established in 2017. Based on the Mornington Peninsula.
Sam started cooking with her grandmother and learnt to make jams and chutneys using home grown fruit and vegetables. Luckily, Sam inherited her grandma’s hand written recipe book and have adapted many of our current recipes from it.
Sam’s ideal day is spent in the kitchen cooking jams, chutneys and pickles for BatchMade. She likes to source locally grown fruit and vegetables from the ‘Pen’ where possible. And often trade surplus home grown fruit or vegetables for some of our preserves.
